Software architecture challenges in big data

BDVA, with the support of BDVe project, is organizing the workshop “Software architecture challenges in big data”, as part of the European Conference on Software Architecture (ECSA), to be held on 24-28 September at Madrid (https://eventos.upm.es/12427/detail/european-conference-on-software-architectures-2018-ecsa18.html).

ECSA is the premier European software architecture conference, providing researchers, practitioners and educators with a platform to present and discuss the most recent, innovative and significant findings and experiences in the field of software architecture research and practice.

The workshop that BDVA organizes aims at discussing on advanced solutions for systems involving one or several of the following technological paradigms: big data, or big data integration with cloud computing / IOT / HPC / artificial intelligence. Industrial case studies including demonstrations and applied research experiences reports for novel contributions as well as visionary papers will be presented. Overall design and performance issues and challenges will be also addressed.

This workshop offers a great opportunity to projects on Big Data to get visibility in front of a qualified audience, and to share experiences on software architectures for Big Data.
